Beginning 9 a.m. Monday morning, June 9, N.C. Department of Transportation crews will intermittently close lanes in both directions of the U.S. 74/76 Heide Trask Drawbridge to Wrightsville Beach, weather permitting. The drawbridge lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the right lanes through Friday, June 13, as crews perform routine inspections of the bridge.
Work began Wednesday, June 4, on the Causeway Drive, U.S. 76 bridge over Banks Channel through 5 a.m. Thursday, June 5, to repair a rail that was damaged during an accident.
