Karola Lüttringhaus and other artists and volunteers performed “Volo,” in which the SARUS Festival bird flies along the beach. Karola Lüttringhaus, Courtney Owen Muir and Mirla Criste then performed an “Amalgamation of Art,” an improvisational experimental work about the influences and interpretations of visual, auditory and sensory stimuli. The performance took place Sunday, Aug. 24 at Wrightsville Beach as part of the Sarus Festival for Site-specific and Experimental Art.
