Beach sports: spikeball

After playing a round of spike ball with his friends Carson Edwards, Evan Fersinger and Matt Stevens, Cade Edwards explained the rules of spike ball.

“You just hit it up to your partner and they hit it back to you,” Edwards said. “Sometimes you can do other stuff, like Carson and Matt are a good team, they play a lot, and Carson will hit it way up to his partner and Matt will just hit it down. I just play, I don’t really have a strategy. It’s fun and it’s active. It’s a new and cool game.”

Stevens agreed, saying spike ball was their favorite game to play on the beach.
