The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has announced the results of its Sept. 27 multi-agency checkpoint held in the 6300 block of Oleander Drive near Boathouse Road. Assisted by the Brunswick and Onslow counties sheriffs’ offices, the Wilmington and Carolina Beach police departments, the University of North Carolina Wilmington Police Department, the N.C. Ports Authority Police Department and the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services BAT Unit, NHCSO PIO, Jerry Brewer reported 101 charges and 12 physical arrests were made. These include:

4- Open container of alcohol violations
5- Drug violations
2- Resist/Delay Officer
5- Driving During Revocation
23- No Operator’s License/ Other License Violations
18- Expired Registration Violations
6- Safety Inspection Violations
3- Insurance Violations
13-Seatbelt Violation
3-Overcrowded Vehicle Violations
1- Texting While Driving
1- Speeding
1- Fugitive Warrant Served
