The Wilmington Area CROP Hunger Walk will take place Sunday, Oct. 12 at Hugh MacRae Park in Wilmington. The hunger walk is a fundraiser to end hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world through self-help initiatives. Day-of registration starts at 1:30 p.m., and the walk begins at 2 p.m. Participation is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
