Wilmington resident Elizabeth DeBiasi has been elected to the International Board of Directors for Easter Seals, the leading nonprofit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and other special needs. DeBiasi was named to the board during its October 2014 meeting in Washington, D.C.

In a Jan. 13 press release, DeBiasi said she is very proud to be associated with Easter Seals.

“Serving on the board is an amazing opportunity to work with an organization that does so much for so many people. It’s a $1.5 billion nonprofit with an international scope that is dedicated to providing care at a local level,” she said.

DeBiasi has worked in various capacities within the banking industry for more than 20 years and currently is a vice president at CLB Advisory.

Prior to joining CLB Advisory, DeBiasi served as a national manager in the financial advisory training group at Bank of America. Her range of industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, general contracting, financial intermediaries and service industries.

DeBiasi’s additional community and regional service includes guest lecturing and developing case studies for Babson College and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, as well as serving on the board of directors for Easter Seals UCP of North Carolina and Virginia.

“We are very excited to have Elizabeth serve as an international board member for Easter Seals,” said James E. Williams, Jr., president and chief executive officer for Easter Seals. “She is dedicated to giving back, and her impressive career in the banking industry makes her a valuable addition to our organization.”
