For its revamped website, Lumina News placed first in its press association division for website design and content. The award was made public Feb. 26 during the North Carolina Press Association’s Winter Institute in Chapel Hill. The online daily with the weekly print edition also took first and second place in niche publications for the September (“Rowing on the River”) and July (“On the Banks of Hewlett’s Creek”) 2014 issues of Wrightsville Beach Magazine. — Marimar McNaughton
