University of North Carolina Wilmington coach Kevin Keatts continues to receive accolades for turning around the school’s men’s basketball team.
Keatts steered the Seahawks to the Colonial Athletic Association regular season championship and ended the season with an 18-13 record. Last year the Seahawks finished with a record of 9-23.
Earlier this month, Keatts was named 2015 CAA Coach-of-the-Year.
Now he has been selected as one of 10 finalists to be named 2015 Joe B. Hall National Coach-of-the-Year by CollegeInsider.com. The award, presented each year to the top first-year college basketball coach, will be announced April 3.
