For the 11th year flowers will float on the Cape Fear River in honor of child abuse prevention efforts. Free and open to the public, the annual Flower Launch also includes music and entertainment. Flowers will be provided for those who wish to participate.
The event, which is sponsored by the New Hanover Community Child Protection Team is set for Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. and will be held rain or shine.
