Intercession

You worship Me in faith as an intercession for your city

Every sound you make and step you take lifts the people around to see My pity

Your prayers are heard loud and clear as you offer them as an intercession

For the families living in your city to step out in a procession

Showing all the nation that unity with a focus on Me will be

The salvation of souls from coast to coast for the world to see

My healing power over nations through intercession of others

To take on the enemy before you to help every sister and brother

Overcome the dark side of their life and take the name of Jesus upon their heart

As their forgiveness is made sure and pure and from their life will not depart

Everyone has the ability for intercession in every way of each day

Open your minds and hearts and take up the difficulties of others as you pray

Because of your faith you will glorify My Son in all that you do

So do not fear as you take up intercession against evil for He is there too

Keep your focus on changing the environment in which you live

The purity of your intercession is all I can ask you to give

(Isa 53:12 NIV)  Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

(Rom 8:26 KJV)  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
