The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office issued 73 charges during a July 3 vehicle checkpoint at the intersection of Carolina Beach Road and River Road.
The charges included six for driving while intoxicated, eight seatbelt violations, three drug charges, three other criminal charges, and 53 charges for various traffic violations.
