Poplar Grove Plantation holds half-day summer camps for kids on July 7 (all about frogs) and July 9 (about woodland creatures and their tracks), as well as a hoop dancing workshop for adults on July 11.
The summer camps run from 9 a.m. – noon and are open to children entering grades 1 -5. The cost is $15. To resister contact Felicia Greene at 910-686-9518 x103 or [email protected].
The hoop dancing workshop runs from 10 a.m. – noon. The $70 fee includes a hula hoop for each participant. Pre-registration is required.
