The Wrightsville Beach Public Works Department is flushing the water main from Stone Street to Jack Parker Street on the island’s south end today, March 8, from 9 a.m., lasting approximately three hours. Water may be temporarily discolored or cloudy. The department recommends that residents not use hot water and avoid doing laundry to prevent sediments from drawing into the plumbing.
