An official event of the N.C. Science Festival, the Sixth Annual Flytrap Frolic offers tours of the garden and educational sessions on how carnivorous plants hunt prey. Attendees can enjoy face painting and crafts, and visit with live snakes from Halyburton Park and birds from Sea Biscuit Wildlife Shelter.
