The National Hurricane Center issued a public advisory for Tropical Storm Julia at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. The advisory states Julia is likely to meander near the northern Georgia or southern South Carolina coastlines through Thursday. The storm is expected to drop three to six inches of rain along the coast of South Carolina, with isolated maximum amounts of up to 10 inches. Julia may produce one to two inches of rain in southeastern North Carolina.
