Azalea Festival Home Tour: Hovis House

Must read

This Italianate wood frame house at 326 S. 4th Street was built around 1870-1880 and features a canopy roof porch that is one of the most visible in Wilmington because of the way the house is situated on a retaining wall. At various times the building served as a pharmacy, a drug store, and a doctor’s office.

This is part of a multi-day series highlighting each of the 10 buildings on the 2015 Azalea Festival Home Tour, which takes place April 11 and 12. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.historicwilmington.org.
