Inspections of Interstate 40 bridges over the Northeast Cape Fear River, east of Castle Hayne, will prompt daily lane closures April 7 – 10. The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close the right lane in both directions of Interstate 40 on the bridges from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m through Friday, April 10.
