Must read

Former Wrightsville Beach resident Lara Yunaska Trump, the daughter-in-law of the Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump, will host two rallies today in the Wrightsville Beach area as part of the Women for Trump bus tour.

The first is a 3:30 p.m. early voting rally at the Northeast Regional Library at 1241 Military Cutoff Road, followed by a 5 p.m. cookout at Wrightsville Beach Park for a rally called “Trump or Treat.”

Lara Trump is married to Eric Trump, the second son of the presidential candidate, and the two live in New York, where she works as a television producer. She is the daughter of Wrightsville Beach residents Robert and Linda Yunaska.

In August, Lara Trump accompanied candidate Donald Trump to Wilmington, where he delivered a speech to a packed Trask Auditorium on the University of North Carolina Wilmington campus. She returned in September for a rally that started two months on the presidential campaign trail for her.

The events are open to the public.
