Wrightsville Beach, NC – Today is the 39th North Carolina Holiday Flotilla at Wrightsville Beach and a Day in the Park.
Day in the Park runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. today and includes food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and the holiday car show. Judging for the car show will begin at noon with winners announced at 2 p.m. Day in the Park is at the Wrightsville Beach Municipal Complex, 321 Causeway Drive.
The ever-popular flotilla begins at 6 p.m. with watercraft staging north of the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge. The holiday-themed vessels will follow along the Intracoastal Waterway, Motts Channel, and Banks Channel before ending near Masonboro Inlet.
The North Carolina Holiday Flotilla will conclude with the annual fireworks display that follows immediately after the boat parade.
2022 boat parade award winners will be announced after the captain’s breakfast Sunday, November 27.
