WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Highlighted by Colonial Athletic Association First-Teamers Bachir Ndiaye and Gabriel Perrotta, seven UNCW men’s soccer players earned year-end honors as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
Forward Jalen Anderson and defender Josef Hefele appear on the All-CAA Second-Team while midfielder Gabe Mercer and defender Jake Shannon shore up the league’s Third-Team. Shannon and fellow freshman Ethan Newsome also received CAA All-Rookie honors.
It is the first time in program history that the Seahawks have had multiple selections to all three All-Conference Teams in the same year and the sixth time UNCW has had two CAA All-Rookie players.
