The North Carolina Coastal Federation’s is offering free, all-ages programing every Tuesday and Thursday at the Fred and Alice Stanback Coastal Education Center, 309. W Salisbury St.
Every Tuesday through August the Federation holds “Touch Tank Tuesdays.” The public is invited to drop in any time between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a hands-on opportunity to learn about creatures found in local estuaries.
Coastal Discovery Thursdays feature a variety of drop-in, hands-on activities between 1 and 3 p.m. every Thursday through November.
