The sailboat that sank in Banks Channels last weekend has been raised and towed to dock.
Wrightsville Beach town officials contacted the boat’s owner, identified as Jeff Schwartz, last week after a diver got the identification number from the boat that was reported sunken last Monday at 11 a.m.
The owner raised the boat after being notified this week and TowBoatU.S. in Wrightsville Beach towed it back to shore.
