The North Carolina Metropolitan Mayors Coalition (NCMMC) has selected Rep. Susi Hamilton to receive a 2014 Metro Mayors Coalition legislative award in recognition of her work in support of the film industry, an Oct. 16 press release states.
In the press release, Hamilton said she was grateful to receive the award, having fought for economic development and job protection and creation across the state.
The award will be presented to Hamilton at the NCMMC’s annual meeting Oct. 23 in Asheville.
