Dazed and confused
Around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 24-year-old Michael Kupferman reported finding an unfamiliar man passed out on the couch of his residence at 112 Live Oak Drive. The man, 22-year-old Joseph Schrom, left and walked over to Causeway Market, where officers found him in a slightly confused state. He was cited for second degree trespassing.
Over the limit
Around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, an officer parked near the 800 block of South Lumina Avenue noticed a black Accura traveling 55 mph in a 25 mph zone. When the officers stopped the driver, 42-year-old Carrie-Leigh Johnson Peed, they noticed the odor of alcohol. They began field sobriety tests and arrested Peed for careless and reckless driving, speeding and driving while impaired.
Hit and run
Feb. 10, Elorah Tilghman’s roommates informed her the bumper of her 2006 Volvo, which she had parked on West Henderson Street, had been knocked off and was lying in the road. The unidentified culprit caused an estimated $1,000 in damage to the car.
