Adorned
As you worship you are adorned with My mercy and grace
These are the jewels I give to each of you in this place
Like the mountains are adorned with beautiful green trees
The earth is covered with serene beauty from sea to sea
You come here with hope and a smile adorned to your face
I give you freedom to speak out in this very safe place
Each of you has been adorned with a gift to share
Some are singers, dancers and some I give a word to declare
The blessings I have adorned on you must be used for
My body of believers to give them strength to pass thru the door
Adorned with the jewels of heaven to make them shine
In this way the whole world will know you are Mine
Upon your face I have adorned the joy of heaven too
My love you must share with many, not just a few
Take what I have adorned you with and practice every day
When you share your gifts they will help others to pray
(Psa 45:8 NIV) All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from palaces adorned with ivory the music of the strings makes you glad.
(Ezek 16:11 NRSV) I adorned you with ornaments: I put bracelets on your arms, a chain on your neck,
(Luke 21:5 NIV) Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
“As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”
(1 Pet 3:5 KJV) For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
(Rev 21:2 NRSV) And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
