The State Library of North Carolina and the Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University have partnered to offer RootsMOOC, an online course in genealogy research, beginning March 23. The course, known as a Massive Online Open Course (or MOOC), carries no university credit but is free to the public.
