This one story home at 503 S. Front Street was built by Capt. Nathan E. Brickhouse around 1860. Nearly 50 years later, his daughter moved the home to the southern portion of the lot. It remained in the family until 1942.
This is part of a multi-day series highlighting each of the 10 buildings on the 2015 Azalea Festival Home Tour, which takes place April 11 and 12.  For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.historicwilmington.org.
