Surf Collective NYC named what it deemed the 22 top surf shops in the world April 13 and The Annex Surf Supply on Causeway Drive made the list.
The Annex, which owner Mike Barden opened in spring 2013, serves as an eclectic extension of nearby Surf City Surf Shop. The store’s merchandise is a mix of surf gear and local art and it occasionally hosts music and art shows during the summer.
The Wrightsville Beach shop appears on Surf Collective NYC’s list alongside stores from California, Barbados and Germany. Click here for the full list.
