Kiersten Yow, the 12-year-old bitten by a shark off of Oak Island last month, has been transferred from N.C. Children’s Hospital to Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
Yow will complete an inpatient rehabilitation program at Levine, where she will focus on strength, balance and range of motion as well as using her left arm for various daily activities.
