The Beach2Battleship Ironman Triathlon got underway this morning as athletes jumped into the water at the south end of Wrightsville Beach to begin the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run. The race finishes in downtown Wilmington near the Wilmington Convention Center.
