Purpose
It is I who have placed the purpose in your heart to worship Me
All strength is derived from your focus on the love that can be
Your purpose is to love one another and uphold a good and moral life
Taking each day captive to goodness and cutting through evil like a knife
Honor the purpose placed within you and walk upright in My strength
Look to My word for your answers and devote the time at length
Come together in worship and in truth to be filled with My heavenly power
All goodness will rain down upon you in a never-ending shower
Keep strong in your purpose to see the miracles of heaven wash over you
To cleanse the heartbreak of your life and clear a path so you can be true
True to the purpose I have set in your life and not be turned away
Believe and have faith as you worship Me, your purpose is here to stay
The morality of this nation is at hand and your purpose will remove the sin
It all starts with the love and light of Jesus that is within
Fill yourself with the strength and purpose deliberately placed within your soul
Take command of all the situations before you and victory over all of them is your goal
(Psa 138:8 NRSV) The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.
(Isa 55:11 NRSV) so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
(Luke 4:43 NRSV) But he said to them, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose.”
(Rom 8:28 NRSV) We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
(1 Cor 1:10 NRSV) Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in agreement and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same purpose.
(1 John 3:8 NRSV) Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
