Fear
My perfect love casts out all fear in you and prepares you for what is to come
Open up your soul to receive My perfect love, receive it all not just some
Fear will hold you back from what you need to do to succeed in joy
When you allow fear in your life you are open to fall by way of the enemy’s ploy
Love each other and trust that your fear will be wiped out this day
Fall on your face and humble yourself every time you see to pray
Do not hold back any of your grief and let it flow to heaven as an offering
Of trust and devotion to Jesus who will remove all of your suffering
Your spirit will jump and shout once fear is removed from all that you do
Speak to the fire and it will be quenched by heaven’s rain, not simple dew
Pour out the love that you have in you as proof you no longer fear
Sing from your heart about the perfect love you have and give a cheer
No longer will you be troubled by anything that stands against you
Accept the perfect love of Jesus and all fear will be gone and you will be made new
The lamb of heaven will be by your side in all that you do
No fear can ever win you over while you and Jesus are one and not two
(Psa 23:4 NRSV) Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff– they comfort me.
(Psa 27:1 NRSV) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
(Psa 118:6 NRSV) With the LORD on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?
(Prov 29:25 NRSV) The fear of others lays a snare, but one who trusts in the LORD is secure.
(Isa 41:10 NRSV) do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
(Mark 5:36 NRSV) But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the leader of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”
(Luke 21:26 – 28 – NRSV) 26 – People will faint from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 – Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in a cloud’ with power and great glory. 28 – Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
(1 John 4:18 NRSV) There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.
