Coastal Carolina will be under a tropical storm watch tomorrow as the path of Tropical Storm Colin is expected to brush the coastline, the National Weather Service said.

Colin formed in the Gulf of Mexico and its anticipated northeastern path will take it across Florida and into the Atlantic Ocean. The NWS said that regional coastal waters will be under a tropical storm watch on Tuesday from 2 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The storm’s impacts to the region would be “minimal,” the NWS said, with winds reaching up to 30 mph on Tuesday, and potentially 2-4 inches of rainfall.
