CFCC to Host Veterans Day Ceremony (updated information)

Wilmington, NC – CFCC’s Division of Veterans Services will hold a ceremony inside Union Station to honor military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony will include remarks from U.S. Navy Veteran and CFCC Veterans Services Coordinator, Jason Bocchino, CFCC President, Jim Morton, U.S. Army National Guard and CFCC student James Nicholas, U.S. Navy Veteran, New Hanover County Commissioner and CFCC Board of Trustees member Jonathan Barfield and U.S. Navy Captain (retired) Wilbur Jones.

The CFCC Barber School will offer free haircuts to all veterans Thursday, November 10 and Monday, November 14 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at barber school (108 Walnut Street, Wilmington, NC).

Following the ceremony, all veterans are invited to a free lunch in the Bob Philpott Veterans Center located on the first floor of CFCC’s Union Station (502 N. Front Street, Wilmington, NC).
