Plan to Run in the WB Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Morning

Wrightsville Beach, NC – Run for fun before digging into a Thanksgiving meal. The annual Wrightsville Beach Turkey Trot is on the schedule again this year and is scheduled for Thursday, November 24.

The Wrightsville Beach Turkey Trot, sponsored by Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity, raises money through its runners and sweat-equity of the benefiting family to build a house for a neighbor in the community. 

Racers have have two options to test themselves. A 5k event that begins at 8:00 a.m. or a 1 mile event that begins at 8:15 a.m. The start and finish line for both races this year is the Wrightsville Beach Park at 321 Causeway Drive, Wrightsville Beach. 

Racers and teams can register in advance at https://bit.ly/3UXzqaG. To register in-person the morning of the race, event organizers will provide a QR code for you to register on your phone.  You can also register online from your phone or device up until the race starts.

Parking will be available first-come, first-serve at these locations: Wrightsville Beach Museum, Wrightsville Beach Municipal Complex & Park, Redix Parking Lots, Wrightsville Beach Baptist, Wrightsville United Methodist, US Post Office.
